The Patriots picked up their 7th win in 7 tries with an impressive 11 - 0 victory over Pilgrim on Thursday. Ryan Westmoreland picked up his 3rd win of the season, pitching a complete game shutout, while only allowing two hits. He walked none and struck out twelve on the day. Offensively, Westmoreland was also the star at the plate, going 3-for-5, with two triples, two runs scored, and three RBI's. Matt Billington also chipped in by stroking his 2nd home run of the season, a solo blast over the left field fence in the 5th inning. On the day, Billington was 2-for-3, with three runs scored and an RBI. The Patriots are now off until Monday, when they will travel to Barrington High School for a 4:00 PM start against the Eagles.
